Man, I keep throwing this desire around back and forth. I want a pc to run my tv (which is just a big monitor) that is fast enough to play blueray/hd movies, record tv broadcasts, rip dvd's and cd's and store a terrabyte of data. I want it to be simple, easy to use, yet powerful enough on the inside that I can have it do other trick shit. I've tried a few things with a MacMini and was mostly unhappy with the result. I'm considereing building a box to give this another try with. So I need a place for my shopping list. I have a PC now, and since I quit play WoW I guess I could rob it for most my parts. I want something that'll run linux or windows without any trouble. Mac os is almost running fine on a normal platform too - so that's almost an option. The Mac's are cool. But there's just too much PIA issues for me to want to try and use my Mini. Plus, it's not fast enough - even tho' I upgraded the processor and memory. It just can't do HD video play back without locking up. I need a work horse.
